What format does my excel spreadsheet need to be in to use BI? I think it needs to be in a table with one row being a record? No multi data cells?
I have a as set up as a report. Trying to make it more useful and ultimately append it to spreadsheets from other sources. Fist step first though

Thank you

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
It doesn't have to be a table nor does it need one row being a record. By multi data cells, do you mean multiple columns split by a delimiter? You can have any format in your Excel file.

Solution
by multi data I mean for example multiple names in one cell in a row. I think I need to split out each name in a different row so I can do queries and such. Making each row unique dataset. Correct?
This is composed of text. A summery of properties etc. quite large. Any numbers were calculated separately and manually inputted ( I have no idea why).

Thanks!
