SOS...SOS...

Help, I inadvertantly locked a folder by changing the permissions to deny and now I cannot even get the permissions tab to even appear. Anyone out there
know what I can do to fix this. My local administrator atttempted and couldn't open the folder so whatever I did locked him out too.

Thanks for the advice/help in advance...

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
I cannot even do this because somewhere along the line I have even lost the Security tab. How do I get the security tab back?

Thanks,

Here's how to get it back!

Open Explorer.

Select "Folder Options" from the Tools menu.

Click the view tab

Scroll to the bottom of the advanced settings and uncheck "Use simple file sharing"

Only works if your disk is formatted using NTFS, I'm assuming you've not modified this!
