Just a thank you to note all the experts on this most-useful forum. I've learned a lot over the course of five years and countless crazy questions. Like many people, I inherited an Excel spreadsheet at work and what was once a rather simple workbook is now almost a computer application. In fact, most of the functionality I've added over the years has been rather non-math spreadsheet stuff: dynamic lists, copying and pasting rows from templates, reformatting to keep things clean, userforms to simplify data entry, and logging to keep track of who did what and when. I started by searching for existing macros to try to do what I needed to be done, to searching for concepts and figuring out how to incorporate them into what I've already learned. I still feel like I'm just getting started.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Glad that you have been finding the forum useful. Thanks for your comments.
