deleting multiple columns

I have a sheet with 48 columns. I need to delete the ones containing the letter A. Is there any VB code for this? Is there any alternative to highlighting each cell and then group deleting?

Use an AutoFilter to diplay the rows for deletion,
select the displayed rows and delete.
