Conditional formatting

I have an application where I am changing the background color of an entire row based upon a value in that row. How do I copy the conditional format down all the row in the spreadsheet?

A couplpe of ways:
1. highlight the row you want to change and then do the conditional formatting
2. If you've already done one cell, copy the cell and Paste Special > check format button
