navigating in a worksheet

When using the Ctrl + End key to go to the end of my data in a worksheet, the selected cell is moving to the end of the worksheet row 65536. How can I make it go to only the end of the data. I know it is really simple but I cant find it.

Try simultaneously pressing Ctrl+Shift+arrow (up, down, left, or right). This will take you to the last contiguous cell (relative to your active cell) that contains data or a formula in that respective row or column.

similarly, if you want to do it just using your mouse....

the current selected cell has 4 borders

hovver your mouse over either of the borders and it will change from a square cross (+) to an arrow
(<--)

double click on this border and it will roadrunner to the end of the contiguous range whether up, down, left or right.

always useful...
