Enabling the Links option

Kind of a silly question. I would just like to know how to enable the Links option under Edit. No matter what I try it seems to always be greyed out.

The links menu is for updating and changing your links. It doesn't become available until you have some links to update and change!

If you copy some cells from a source spreadsheet you can paste a link to those cells into your master worksheet by selecting Paste Special > Paste Link from the edit menu. Once you do that, the Links menu will become available and your source spreadsheet will be listed.

Another cause for the links menu being unavailable is the worksheet being protected, but I doubt that's what your problem is.
