Pivot table error message - "Too few parameters"

I am trying to link a pivot table to an access database.

I am able to select the query that contains the data, but when I try to select the fields that I want, I get the error message "Too few parameters. Expected 2".

Help indicates this is a driver error:

Driver error.

This error was returned by the driver. For more information, check the documentation for the driver you are currently using.

Can anyone help me fix this?

Does it work with other Access files? If not, then first I would make sure that the driver is configured correctly (Control Panel-ODBC Drivers). If that is ok, then maybe re-installing the driver.

I am able to refresh pivot tables already linked this way without any problems, but I cannot create them from scratch.
