Date Increments

I have two columns that will contain dates. I want the second column to read from the left hand column but with 10 months added. Is there an easy way of doing this?

I have tried simply selecting the cell and adding 10 which didn't work. I then tried it with the number of days although this worked to a point although over a rolling year thenumber of days varies.

Use

=EDATE(A1,10)

You need the Analysis Toolpak added (via Tools|Add-Ins) in order to use this function.

Otherwise, use:

=DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1)+10,DAY(A1))
